Health and Book Fair

A dual Fair for the mind and for the body has been planned for Saturday, September 27th, 2008 at 10:30 AM. You can learn about some of the things that affect our health and prevent us from living life to the fullest. Common and uncommon ailments are explained; check your blood pressure, cholesterol level, glucose level, test for osteoporosis and more. The Health Fair will be sponsored by Health Professionals from Baptist Hospital. Then energize your mind by purchasing either a new or nearly new book for adults, teens, or children. No book will cost more than 50 cents. All proceeds from the book fair will go the church's garden committee. If you have used books in good condition, that you would like to donate to the cause - bring them to the office the week prior to the Fair, or that same day, but in sufficient time for them to be sorted.
